Portrayal Of Saudi King As Important Reformist Fal
In Iran, Article In IRGC Weekly: 'Newsweek' Portrayal Of Saudi King As Important Reformist False
An article in the Iranian Sobh-e Sadeq, the weekly of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), stated that the U.S. publication Newsweek's choice last month of Saudi King Abdallah as one of the 10 most important reformists in the world is groundless.
The article said that the selection stemmed from the king's relations with the U.S.
It added that in Saudi Arabia there are no elections, and many political experts think that the regime there is the most dictatorial in the world.
