Russian Scholar Calls Israel Main Enemy Of Islam, Muslims
Heidar Jamal, the founder of the Islamic Renaissance Party and the head of the Islamic Committee of Russia, says that the regime occupying Qods (Jerusalem) is the number one enemy of Islam and of the world's Muslims.
Speaking to the official Iranian news agency IRNA in Moscow, Jamal said that Muslim world should unite to face the Zionist regime.
He said that for more than half a century the Zionist regime has occupied Palestinian lands, Jordan, and Syria in a bid to change the Islamic identity of the regions and to Judaize them. To this end, he said, a large number of Palestinians have been rendered homeless over recent years, and Jewish settlements are being built in the Palestinian lands.
