Kuwaitis Comprise 31% Of Kuwait Residents

Alarabiya.net reported that only 31% of Kuwait residents are Kuwaitis, and that the majority is foreign workers from Asia and Arab countries.

Kuwaiti sociologist Dr. Khaldoun Al-Naqib accused the Kuwaiti government of neglecting the problem, and noted that the problem also stems from a drop in the birth rate in the past decade, from an average of 6 children per family to 3.5 children per family. He added that birth rates were falling in all Gulf countries.
